Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry


With about 850 staff members from 45 nations, the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry (MPIB) on the Campus Martinsried near Munich, Germany, is one of the biggest institutes focused on biomedical research within the Max Planck Society.


In recently seven big research departments and about 25 independent research groups, MPIB scientists are contributing to the newest insights in biochemistry, cell biology, structural biology, biophysics and molecular medicine.
